Jim N., OR (2004 Subaru Outback H6 LL Bean 3.0-L 6 Cyl)“took to top A/C repair shop in area, hose was bad, called dealer for replacement, dealer had plenty on hand, tech said that indicated to him that problem was a known problem, when parts are easily available from dealer”

Anonymous, KS (2004 Subaru Outback H6 LL Bean 3.0-L 6 Cyl)“Air conditioning was not blowing cold air as of May 2016, tested the pressure of the system (following Subaru Service Manual procedures) refrigerant in system was below any reading obtainable. No refrigerant in the system. I drew a vacuum on the system for 40 minutes and waited an hour without a loss of vacuum. Recharged with correct amount of refrigerant, and the system was fully functional. Skip ahead to early May 2017 and AC is not blowing cold. Given the previous results, I will again test”
