Labjack Python framework dependencies

I'm not quite sure where to ask this question.

I'm searching for a DAQ which can be interfaced with using python, but from some of the documentation I've found it seems that Labjack products installs LVRE so my question is; since i don't own or intent to buy a Labview licence, will it be possible to interface with Labjack products using python og C++`?

The LVRTE is needed to run

The LVRTE is needed to run some executable sample applications we provide: LJLogUD, LJStreamUD, LJLogM, and LJStreamM.

You do not need to own/buy a LabVIEW license to run those executables, any of our other executables, or to do your own development. You only need to own/buy a LabVIEW license to to LabVIEW development.

We support just about any development environment, and nothing special or extra is needed:

Even with Matlab you don't need to buy any extra toolboxes such as the DAQ Toolbox. Just basic Matlab.
