The functions inside the LabJack LJM subpalette can't be added to the block diagram

Note that question marks (I like your use of "interrogative"), are just a problem with the function palette.  You should still be able to open examples and make programs, you just can't use the function palette.

Function palette help below, but we find that most people, including ourselves, don't use the LJM function palette.

• We are always building off existing examples and do lots of copy/paste of code sections.
• If we need something else, we use the cartoon balloon in the function palette and pick from the file browser it gives me.   It is nice to see the full VI names (which match the LJM documentation), rather than try to decipher little icon graphics.

Here is an email that fixed this issue for the last customer who emailed about this.  Not sure which thing fixed it though, so would appreciate any feedback you can provide.

Note that any changes to the function palette do not take effect until LabVIEW is restarted.

Perhaps the new dir.mnu does not match with the archive you have, so I have uploaded an entire new archive including the new dir.mnu file.

Make sure you only have 1 copy of the LabVIEW_LJM folder on your machine.  Make sure you are putting it in the LabVIEW folder that matches the version of LabVIEW your are running, as you might have multiple versions of LabVIEW installed.

I put the LabVIEW_LJM folder in \LabVIEW 7.1\vi.lib\addons\ and it works for me.  See attached images.

I tried putting the folder in \LabVIEW 7.1\vi.lib\ but that did not work.

I tried putting the folder in \LabVIEW 7.1\user.lib\ but that did not work.  It did give me an LJM folder under User Libraries, but all the functions were just question marks.
