Maximum value of the analog inputs

Hi,

I don't understand which is the maximum value for the analog inputs. In the table below it says Typical input range high voltage AIN (HV) is 10V and 3 rows below say No Damage, HV 40V. Which is the maximum voltage for the analogue input signals 10V or 40V?

It appears you are looking at

It appears you are looking at the T4 specs:

https://labjack.com/support/datasheets/t-series/appendix-a-3-1-1-t4-general-specs

10V is the upper limit of the measurement range.  40V is the spec for max voltage the terminal can handle without sustaining damage.

10V:  Max you can measure.
10-40V:  You can't measure this but it will not hurt the channel.
>40V:  You are risking damage.
