Hi,
I was setting up the T7 in January and it worked fine. Right now I have issues to read out anything at all. All AIN channels read the same value (2.44V, check attached png). If I test the response as described here: https://labjack.com/support/app-notes/test-AIN and use e.g. 3V in DAC0, AIN0 does not change. I tested the DAC0 with a volt meter and get the right voltage out between DAC0 and GND. I reset the power-up settings to factory defaults and downloaded the latest firmware but that did not help.
Did I manage to damage the device?
thanks for your help
Since 0 volts is in the middle of the range on the T7 that is a good test voltage also. Jumper GND securely to AINx and see if AINx reads 0.0 volts in Kipling or LJLogM.
A few other things:
1. Update to our latest software installer (use beta if there is one) and then update to the latest firmware (use beta if there is one). That way you are using the same stuff as us.
2. Remove all connections from the device except for power/comm, and a small test jumper as needed.
3. Power cycle the device.
4. Use a DMM to confirm VS is 4.75 to 5.25 volts.
If VS is good but you still have readings all stuck at 2.44 volts, damage is likely, so go here to initiate a return:
