External Clocking Number of Pulses

Hi, I'm trying to set up external clocking for my stream and its mostly working but I just have one issue I'm wondering about. I would prefer that when I start the stream on the labjack making the pulses, it starts pulsing and doesn't end until I stop that labjack, just like a normal stream. Is there any way to do this or do I absolutely have to manually set a certain amount of pulses on DIO0_EF_CONFIG_C? If so, what is the max number of pulses I can put there?
