I cannot plug in some slow devices

I am running an Ubuntu 14.04 LTS and some unusual serial hardware, which uses serial to USB converter. I cannot plug in some slow devices (RS232 to USB 2.0 adapter and RS422 to USB 2.0 adapter and other USB 2.0 devices) into center 3.0 without having an application problem due to lack of incoming notifications. However, if all devices are plugged directly into the PC, everything works. Can you explain why this is happening?

Sounds like you might have a USB hub or port that is not working properly with low or full speed device. Try using a different hub or using different ports.
