I am looking at the OEM T7 for a application that is mounted on a pickup truck. I am a little unsure of the long term relaiblity of the USB power connection in this kind of vibration and shock environement. Is there any way to directly connect power to the board?

There's good info about different ways to supply power in the VS section of the T7 Datasheet:

A couple things to consider from the OEM section are using a high-retention USB connector or providing power through some secure connection to J5.
