T7-Analog input Signal Range the relation betwean Gan and vout

I am just reading the Appendix A-3-2 Signal range in your website. the Example#2 has just confused me. Comparing to Appendix A-3-1, i expected to have G=10 for the output voltage of 1.0 volt. But in example#2 the gain is equal 1. Is it maybe a type fault or i didn't get the point what is the relation between vout and gain in labjack T7.

Thank you for your reply

I think what you are saying

I think what you are saying is that if you were doing a measurement where the max voltage was 1.0 volts, you would use the +/-1V range (Gain=x10) as that would provide the best resolution for that signal.  That would generally be correct.  The point of Example #2 has nothing to do with resolution, but rather just showing and example that violates a condition discussed in Appendix A-3-2 ... "voltage of any AIN terminal must not exceed +/-11.5V versus GND".  I'll change the numbers so Vdiff>1.0V to avoid your point of confusion.
