Dear Support,
Before buying my T7 I asked the German support if it is possible to connect a T7 direct to a PC with a wifi connection - without a router.
He told me "yes, that's possible".
Now I'm trying to setup up this connection but it did not work.
Was he wrong?
If so, it's very important that this is possible. The device will be utilized somewhere out in the fields...
Is it possible to use such a device to solve this problem? (sorry for German, but the pictures are with English explanations)

Yes, it is possible. See "T7-Pro Direct to Computer via WiFi" on our basic networking page:
https://labjack.com/support/app-notes/basic-networking-troubleshooting
If you look at the list of 5 "options to consider", the Amazon link you posted would be option #4.
Hi, thanks for replying.
After finishing troubleshooting and deploying several programs (the one troubleshooting recommends and further) I give up to build a direct connection (PC <-> T7).
Maybe there are some issues with my hardware or it is just not compatible.
To finish this post and my request to help, here is the solution which works pretty well for me.
Using a mini WIFI router (TP-Link TL-WR802N N300 Nano) which fits all my needs.
Thank you for helping me!
Sincerely
Jaques
